Test freezes. What do I do?
Test freezes. What do I do?

Here's how to restart a test session, in the rare case of a technical issues.

Updated over 3 months ago

While rare, tech issues can happen during a test session.

For example, the test taker (the applicant) may lose their internet connection or have a web browser issue, such as a frozen screen.

If an issue occurs with a remote test session (out of your office), the test taker can click on the testing link again, in the email, to restart the session.

If an issue occurs with a test taken in your office, you can restart the session by relauching the test session link (using copy/paste icon) in the same web browser.

Google Chrome browser is the preferred browser. Please note that keyboarding tests such as typing tests and data entry test, should be taken on a laptop or desktop computer, not a mobile device such as a phone or tablet. Simulation tests such as Microsoft Office tests, as well as other computer skills tests, should also be taken on a laptop or desktop computer, not a mobile phone or tablet.
